Child safeguarding with respect and solidarity: Asmae joins the KCS Network

We are proud to welcome Asmae, an esteemed international organisation founded by Sister Emmanuelle, to the Keeping Children Safe (KCS) global network! Since 1980, Asmae has been dedicated to protecting and educating vulnerable children worldwide. Operating in eight countries—Egypt, Lebanon, the Philippines, Madagascar, Burkina Faso, India, Côte d’Ivoire and France—Asmae’s mission is to ensure that children grow up in environments that respect their freedoms and rights.

With over 30,000 beneficiaries in 2020 alone, Asmae has been instrumental in improving the lives of thousands of children worldwide. Protecting children from abuse and exploitation is central to their mission and this is why they are now deciding to join KCS. In working on their child safeguarding measures, Asmae strives to enhance their child safeguarding measures, to create a strong organisational culture focused on the protection and wellbeing of the children and youth they serve, ensuring their work environments are safe and contributing to the global effort of safeguarding children. Their ultimate goal is to ensure that every team member contributes to fostering a culture of safety and respect.

Asmae’s work is grounded in the values of justice, respect and solidarity. Their dedication to child safeguarding and education make them a valuable addition to the KCS global network. We look forward to working together to create safer, healthier environments for children around the world.
