ChildFund Australia joins KCS: Strengthening global efforts in Child Safeguarding and Child Rights

Keeping Children Safe gives a warm welcome to ChildFund Australia to its global network of organisations! ChildFund Australia is an independent international development organisation dedicated to reducing poverty for children in some of the world’s most disadvantaged communities.

Their mission is to create community and systemic changes that enable children and young people, in all their diversity, to assert and realise their rights.

ChildFund Australia is a member of the ChildFund Alliance – one of the world’s oldest and most experienced child-focused development agencies. With a global network of 11 organisations, the ChildFund Alliance assists nearly 36 million children and families in 70 countries.

As a child rights-focused organisation, ChildFund Australia joined KCS to enhance its child safeguarding practices and demonstrate accountability to the children and communities it serves. ChildFund Australia’s child protection programming aims to protect children from violence, exploitation, abuse and neglect and to advance their health, development, and social and emotional wellbeing.

Joining the Keeping Children Safe network is a step towards continuously reflecting on and improving their strong impact and culture of child safeguarding within their organisation and with their partners.
