We are happy to welcome Seek and Save Mission Ministries (SASMM) to the Keeping Children Safe (KCS) global network! SASMM, a dedicated non-profit organisation based in rural Ghana, has joined us in our mission to safeguard children from abuse and exploitation.
Founded in 1993 and formally registered in 2007, SASMM has been a critical force in creating safer environments for vulnerable children, adolescents and families in underserved communities. Through their numerous programmes—ranging from child protection to educational sponsorship and community-based development—SASMM has supported more than 5,000 children, youth, and women, promoting positive change and resilience in areas with limited resources.
Their “Children Without Walls” programme offers crucial shelter and basic needs for survivors of abuse, while their child sponsorship initiative helps keep children in school, fostering educational opportunities and gender equity. Additionally, their community outreach and advocacy initiatives work to prevent child exploitation, end corporal punishment and eliminate child marriage and sexual violence.
By joining our network, SASMM aims to enhance their child safeguarding policies, strengthen staff training and build a culture of vigilance and accountability across their operations. Together, we are committed to empowering children and families with the resources they need to break cycles of abuse and live fulfilling, safe lives.
