We are proud to welcome Webfala Digital Skills For All Initiative to the Keeping Children Safe (KCS) global network. Founded in 2018, Webfala is dedicated to empowering underprivileged children, girls, youth and women in Nigeria through STEM education and digital literacy. Their mission is to equip these vulnerable groups with the tools they need to succeed in a rapidly changing digital world.
Their decision to join the KCS network marks a significant step forward in their commitment to protecting children from online abuse and exploitation. Being deeply involved in digital education, Webfala understands the importance of creating safe online environments. Joining the network means they will benefit from access to international child safeguarding standards, training and resources, all of which will help them strengthen their child safeguarding policies and practices.
In the next year, Webfala aims to become a leading advocate for child safeguarding in Nigeria, with comprehensive safeguarding measures embedded across all their programmes. Their vision includes not only empowering children with digital skills but also ensuring that these children can navigate the digital world safely, free from the risks of exploitation and harm.
We look forward to working together with Webfala to create a safer digital future for children everywhere. Welcome to the KCS global network!
