We welcome Youth 2 Youth Zambia to the Keeping Children Safe (KCS) global network! Established in 2013, Youth 2 Youth Zambia is a youth-led organisation dedicated to empowering young people across Zambia, equipping them with the skills and opportunities needed to thrive.
Y2Y Zambia operates with a vision of creating a “global village” where young people are self-reliant, productive and able to access equal opportunities. Based in Lusaka and active across Zambia, they focus on youth mentorship, entrepreneurship, skills development and cultural exchange. With initiatives aimed at developing youth as leaders, entrepreneurs and role models, Y2Y Zambia seeks to inspire positive change at every level of society.
By joining KCS, they aim to further their mission to create safe spaces for young people. They understand that safeguarding is not simply a policy but a continuous process embedded in every level of their work, from community engagement to management practices. Thus, they aim to build a robust child safeguarding framework, conduct comprehensive staff training and partner with local communities to raise awareness of child safety issues.
We are happy to work alongside Youth 2 Youth Zambia to support the youth of Zambia in becoming leaders of tomorrow, equipped with the tools, knowledge and safe environments they need to reach their full potential.
