Keeping Children Safe (KCS) is proud to announce that next month we will be celebrating eight years of building the safeguarding capacity of organisations throughout the Middle East and North Africa, making sure that tens of thousands of children and young people are better protected from harm and exploitation.
Our work in the region has been made possible over the years through the support of Porticus, a philanthropic organization that focuses on creating a just and sustainable future where human dignity flourishes. Their work aims to strengthen the resilience of communities so that all people have ownership over their future.
KCS has helped Porticus partners since 2017 to develop or strengthen their safeguarding policies and procedures in Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, as well as Turkey.
KCS is looking forward to continuing its technical support throughout the region in the coming years.
