Zee Tech Foundation is a Nigeria-based organisation dedicated to promoting digital literacy among youth while ensuring their safety in online and offline spaces. Recognising the importance of child safeguarding in the digital world, the organisation is committed to protecting children’s rights and creating secure learning environments. Upon joining the KCS network, its founder Zubairu Jibril said: ‘Creating a safe environment for children in digital spaces is as important as equipping them with the skills to thrive in a digital world.’
The Zee Tech Foundation hopes that being part of our network helps them align their safeguarding practices with global standards. Their decision is driven by the shared mission of protecting children and fostering safe digital spaces.
The foundation’s key priority is to implement comprehensive child safeguarding measures, including training for staff, volunteers and community partners. Within a year, they aim to establish a robust framework that includes awareness campaigns and proactive monitoring systems to keep children safe online. The Zee Tech Foundation aspires to be a leader in integrating child safeguarding with digital literacy in Nigeria.
